A couple interesting events coming up….

Earth To Beer 2024

We are excited to announce our partnership with Earth To Beer, a nationwide beer campaign for Earth Day, April 2024. The partnership aims to raise awareness for protecting our planet by promoting sustainable ingredient sourcing, supporting non-profits, and building community around environmentally-friendly packaging.

Participating breweries will produce a specially packaged beer using environmentally responsible ingredients, work closely with a nonprofit of their choosing, and release the beer in April 2024. This is a perfect opportunity for brewers to show their support of producers, suppliers, and vendors who offer products and ingredients that are good for the planet. Valley Malt plans to use this opportunity to promote the sustainable Northeast family farms that we source from, especially those growing Certified Organic and Regenerative Organic Certified grains. We are offering a 10% discount to breweries for Earth To Beer brews.

The campaign has 32 breweries signed up in 21 states. If you are interested in joining, we would love to collaborate with you on your own Earth Day beer!

February 22 - 24, 2024: The Craft Maltsters Guild’s annual conference + trade expo brings together university, agriculture, malt, and beverage professionals from across the globe as the only conference of its kind, offering workshops and seminars specifically focused on malt research, topics, and best practices. MaltCon 2024 will take place in Davis, CA.
